Really not much to complain about with this team:

- Balanced scoring,
- Hayes, Niskanen, and Braun contributing,
- Hart and Elliott both playing well now,
- Lappy is off the PK and it's ranked #3,
- Frost, Farabee and Myers all in the lineup,
- Top-10 raw possession team (51.45 CF%),
- Positive in possession quality (50.08 xGF%),
- 4th-line isn't full of terrible hockey players.

Perfect? Of course not. But there are too many positive signs to ignore.

Agreed.

It would have been nice to close out the Islander & Flames games. It didn't happen. With the month of November they just had with the back to backs and playing more games than any team in the NHL it was a hell of a month.

Sure there are players that could be playing better, but all in all, couldn't have asked for anything more to sit where they are in the standings. Vigneault has brought a professionalism and credibility behind the bench. His value has been immeasurable. The coaching staff has done a great job thus far. For the most part the effort has been there most of the year. Make the playoffs, and who knows maybe they get hot and go on a run.

Surely won’t be any today. They all earned a vacation for all the improvement they inspire.

Hopefully tomorrow night we can solve Anderson. Guy has been a wall the last two games against the Flyers

No team in the league is perfect. The fact people are complaining about wins is baffling. I honestly never realized how many prerequisites there were to winning.

Don't you know that if you don't beat a team by the requisite margin it doesn't count?

The Flyers would need to find about 2 million in cap space to take on his contract if Calgary even wanted to make that trade

I don't know what to tell some of you. Getting blown out 7-1 by Pitt and give up 3-0 lead in the third to the islanders, both of which are division rivals should look like a black eye to you. Maybe you're proud of beating up on the last place Wings and the slowly falling Habs but you can't beat up bad teams and get beat bad by good teams and expect to sit at the adult's table.

What do you think Vigneault is telling his Troops? Your naive take or mine?
